Star Wars The Force Awakens Receives Positive reaction

Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered last night in Hollywood to very positive reviews.

Actress Geena Davis let out a whoop from her seat in the second row of the Dolby Theater balcony, as soon as the film ended, “I loved everything about it,” she said. Patten Oswald tweeted “JJ did it”

Star Wars fans are on pins and needles, but thanks to Disney and the movies producers, several promised surprises and secrets have managed to be kept hush hush. Secrets, such as why wasn’t Luke Skywalker in any of the movie trailers, still remain a mystery.

At the premier, at the Hollywood and Hyland complex, the film played in three theaters (the TCL Chinese, El Capitan and Dolby theaters). The red carpet was lined with storm troopers who greeted stars and movie producers as they entered. George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy, and Disney boss Roger Iger were all on hand as well as the films stars and some droid favorites R2D2 and BB-8.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in Theaters on Friday December 18th.
